The Correlian Syndicate: Synopsis

What do you do when you have the power to destroy the world in seconds... but all hands are the wrong hands?

8 children. 7 of them children of the world's most powerful leaders. 1 of them just there teenaged bodyguard. Or so it seems. Rhea Verma's parents aren't well known in the public eye. To them, Aryan Verma and Ishita Ghosh are boring, old software engineers leading a normal, simple life. Reality though, has a different view. The Verma - Ghosh family is the most powerful in the world. A word from Rhea's parent's mouths can make or break wars. She's probably the most important of the Eight. But also the most dangerous. The Eight's bodyguard by day, the world's top spy by night, the Verma family run the Correlian Syndicate. A society to maintain world peace. And Rhea is the heir. Every war, every pandemic, even most deaths are orchestrated by them to maintain world peace, as the call it. And so far, they have. But when a rival society full of corrupt and honorable try to take them down, it's up to Rhea to stop them. If they take over, yes, freedom will reign, but so will chaos. Only question is, does Rhea really want to take them down? Or does she want to take over the syndicate herself? Because in this story, Rhea is not the stereotypical hero. In fact, she may just be the not - so stereotypical villain.
